About Us

The East London Academy is a Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy training academy based in Bow, East London.

The academy was initially set up to enable people from the local area gain access to flexible training.

We provide community courses that are targeted at people who may be at a disadvantage in gaining training places and who cannot afford to pay privately.

Due to demand we are now offering free training to people from different areas who meet our criteria. 

In order to offer our free community courses we operate private courses for people who are able to finance their training.

This has proven to be successful and we have been able to offer a great deal of free courses for disadvantaged people.

We are able to provide excellent training and have gained a great support network locally and further a field.

We are recommended by local Initiatives and have been able to benefit the lots of people with all kinds of problems.

We work very closely with a local community centre called the Linc and they are in full support of us and our aims to make a difference in the community and wider community.

The aim of the academy is to help make a difference in the local area by opening up training opportunities in hairdressing and beauty therapy and to enable our students to gain recognised national and international qualifications.
